DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K)

DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a program that helps children between the ages of six and 12 whose parents are getting divorced. Children in this situation often feel scared, sad, and confused. They might be keeping their feelings inside to protect their parents or because they don’t know how to express themselves properly.

In DC4K, children are given a safe, neutral space where they can learn about separation and divorce in a way that’s appropriate for their age. The program includes 14 weekly sessions that focus on showing children that God’s love can help them during tough times and bring them hope and joy. Each session offers fun activities like games, crafts, role-playing, and discussions to help children understand their emotions better. The workbook has activities and journal prompts to encourage your children to express their feelings in constructive ways.

The leaders of DivorceCare for Kids are people who truly care about children whose parents are going through a divorce. They want to offer support, build connections, and teach children how to handle the challenges of divorce, while also helping them find healing through Jesus.
