Get Back in the Game

Starts September 17

Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? Why did He die? Why and how do I pray? Does God heal today? Alpha looks at these and other questions, providing a practical introduction to the Christian faith. Over 11 weeks, Alpha explores the meaning of life, revealing that Christianity can be every bit as relevant to life today as it was 2,000 years ago. Join us for dinner at 6:30pm, followed by teaching and discussion in small groups. Dive into different issues, find out what others think, and make new friends along the way!

Get Free

Starts September 17

Freedom is the ability to respond fully to God out of whom He created and redeemed you to be. Get Free provides a basis for seeking freedom and healing from physical, emotional, and spiritual issues. You will learn:

  • God’s value of you
  • God’s promises for freedom
  • How God changes us
  • How to hear God’s voice

Each week, you'll spend time discussing what you’ve learned with those at your table. This class is necessary for those desiring to attend Freedom Weekends, those wanting to serve as volunteers for the event, and those wanting 1:1 pastoral counseling here at Northwoods.

Financial Peace University

Starts September 28

Believe it or not, the Bible has a lot to say about how we handle our money. Learn how to eliminate debt and follow God's plan in your finances through Dave Ramsey's easy to follow baby steps in his video course Financial Peace University.

55+ Connection Fall Trip

October 4

Join the 55+ Connection group on a day trip to the Amana Colonies during Oktoberfest! There will be a variety of events and activities that hold true to Amana's German history.

The Well

Starts September 17

The Well is an on-campus daytime gathering where ordinary women can experience God in extraordinary ways. Twice a month, you can meet with friends, experience live biblical teaching, and have lots of time for discussion and prayer.

October 1

Day-to-day life can leave women exhausted and discouraged, but God wants us to experience an abundant life full of unity, love, and encouragement! Whether you're a stay-at-home mom or work full time, whether you're a student or retired, whether you've been a Christian your whole life or still have questions about who Jesus is, Woven is for you. Woven is a night of live worship, teaching, and prayer. It's a space designed for women to come together to encourage each other on their journeys, no matter where you're at in life. Invite your friends and come get filled up at Woven.

20s/30s Fall Retreat

September 27-29

Between possibly having little kids, working to pay off debt, and all of the other things that clutter our lives, it can be difficult to find time to rest in the presence of the Lord. Join us for a retreat from the chaos of our everyday lives and deepen your relationship with Jesus through worship, fellowship, and fun.

Legacy Five

September 22

Southern Gospel favorite Legacy Five returns to Northwoods Church. Tickets available online and at the church office. Tickets are $12 in advance and $17 at the door.

Starts September 26

God cares about everyone we interact with. Whether it's a custodian or CEO, God sees a beloved son or daughter with whom He wants to have a deeper relationship. Overflow is a 4-week class, taught by Jeff Admire (a Doing What Jesus Did table leader), that explores these truths and will equip you to pour out God's love in a powerful way, so that you can bring more of His presence, right where He's placed you.
