Simplifications to traffic routing and resurfacing to improve guest experiences

A long-awaited project to overhaul and update the Peoria Campus parking lots and traffic routing will clear up confusion and improve traffic flow for services, special events, guests and regular ministry activities.

  • All inbound traffic will enter from Wilhelm Road.
  • The Allen Road entrance will be closed for the duration of the project.
  • For everyone's safety and convenience, please be courteous and cautious, and follow parking attendant instructions carefully.

July 23, 2021

During the weekdays of July 26 - July 30, both of the Wilhelm Road entrances will be closed as work commences on Lot B and Lot C.

July 22, 2021

Parking construction is ahead of schedule! The Peoria Campus Allen Road entrance will be re-opened for services this Sunday, July 25. Please keep in mind that the traffic flow pattern entering from Allen Road has changed significantly. The primary entrance on Wilhelm Road will return to its original configuration of two lanes in and two lanes out for services.

Project timeline established

Architect/General Contractor Greg Doolin of O'Shea Builders and Project Director Todd Parmenter, Executive Pastor of Operations, announced that site prep and construction will be on Tuesday,  June 1.

General Contractor retained and bids let

Northwoods Executive Pastor of Operations, Todd Parmenter, announced that O'Shea Builders has been retained as General Contractor for the project.
