Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a ticket?
All attendees must have a ticket to pass the security checkpoints, either printed or presented on a mobile device. Every guest who will sit in the main Auditorium must have a General Admission ticket.
How do I return tickets?
As soon as possible, please return any tickets you will not be using. When you return your tickets electronically, we can quickly make them available for others who are waiting. Instructions are included in the ticket confirmation email.
What if I don’t have a ticket?
Immediately prior to the start of the show, we admit anyone without a ticket to claim any seats not yet filled by ticket holders.
Is childcare available?
There is no childcare available this year.
When should my party arrive?
We recommend arriving 60-90 minutes prior to showtime to allow sufficient time to navigate parking and security as well as to get your place in line for seating.
- Enter the building and pass a Security checkpoint with your entire party. It is extremely difficult to find others or share tickets once you’ve entered or passed the security checkpoints.
- Enter the Auditorium and find seats with your entire party. It creates a great deal of confusion and frustration when people attempt to save seats for guests who have not yet arrived. This is also unfair to those who have been waiting patiently.
What should I bring (or NOT bring)?
All large bags will be inspected, so we ask that you leave unessential items at home or in your car.
Can I get special seating?
Early seating will be available for guests requiring assistance plus one person. Arrive at least 60 minutes before showtime. Signage and hosts at the security checkpoints will guide you. You will be allowed to reserve seats once in the Auditorium. Once the doors to the Auditorium open, no further accommodations can be made.
What if the weather is bad?
Any cancellation or other emergency communication will be via the email address you use to get your tickets. We also attempt to notify via local broadcast media, our website, our social media channels, and our mobile app.
Will the show be available online?
Yes! The production stream on Northwoods Online and on YouTube, Facebook, Roku, and AppleTV on December 22 at 7pm. After that, you can enjoy it on demand any time on our Media Archive or on YouTube. For help with streaming, click here.
The Christmas Production will be recorded in a number of manners, including photography, video, and audio. Images of guests may be recorded as part of this process and used by the church for a variety of purposes. The Northwoods Photo Release Notice is available for review here.
